It's official: Supernatural has been renewed for a third season!!

The announcement was made on May 17th during the CW Upfronts in New York. Fans had been hoping for this outcome but weren't certain the network would recognize the ratings as being good enough to warrant a third season. I'm just glad Dawn Ostroff and Co. recognized that - considering the competition it's up against - Supernatural has still managed to fare pretty well!

Still, it would not hurt for the loyal fans to spread the word around about this great show. Because we got season 3... so now it's time to start thinking about season 4.
